Robert Atzorn
Robert Atzorn (*2 February 1945 in Bad Polzin, Pomerania) is a German actor who is best known for his roles in television series such as "Oh Gott, Herr Pfarrer" and "Unser Lehrer Doktor Specht".
After graduating from high school, Atzorn initially studied graphic design at the Alsterdamm art school in Hamburg, but soon discovered his passion for acting and attended the New Munich Drama School from 1967 to 1969. He got his first engagement in 1969/70 at the Württembergische Landesbühne in Esslingen. This was followed by further stints at renowned theaters in Zurich, Münster, Cologne, Dortmund and Munich.
Atzorn made his television debut in 1980 in Ingmar Bergman's film "From the Life of Marionettes". He became known to a wider audience in 1988 through the series "Oh God, Mr. Pastor", in which he played an unconventional pastor. He received the Golden Camera for this role in 1989.
From 1992 to 1999 he played the title role in the early evening series "Our Teacher Doctor Specht", for which he was awarded the Telestar in 1993.
Atzorn took on other important roles as Inspector Jan Casstorff in "Tatort" in 2001
The fact that Robert Atzorn is left-handed can be seen in Tatort, for example, when he holds a gun in his hands and aims. He uses his left hand and supports it with his right. He also prefers his left hand on many other occasions. However, he uses his right hand when writing; he was probably retrained.
